SRSC Show Sponsorship
Scandia Riders Saddle Club Sponsorship Program
This sponsorship program is open to Scandia Riders Saddle Club (SRSC) members to help meet some expenses that would result from competing at one of the following events: the Minnesota State Fair Horse Show, or the Minnesota 4H State Horse Show, or the WSCA Champ Show. These three shows are the only events for which a sponsorship is available.
Each club member that requests sponsorship, who meets all eligibility requirements and follows the rules listed below, will receive reimbursement of $60.
Eligibility / Rules
The applicant MUST:
1. Have been a SRSC member in good standing for one full year previous to the application date;
2. Have volunteered a minimum of 2 hours work at a SRSC function, or spent time working on a SRSC committee within the past year;
3. Ride at the event as a representative of the Scandia Riders Saddle Club;
4. Apply for the sponsorship prior to competing* at the event by attending in-person a SRSC General Membership Meeting in August or September for only one event (Minnesota State Fair Horse Show or the Minnesota 4H State Horse Show or the WSCA Champ Show).
*Applicant must apply in-person for sponsorship for the Minnesota State Fair
at the August meeting -- or for the Minnesota 4H State Horse Show or the
Champ Show at the August or September meeting.
To receive reimbursement, the recipient:
1. Must attend (in-person) the SRSC General Membership Meeting in October or November;
2. Will be asked at the meeting to share his/her experience at the event;
3. Must provide proof (such as a receipt) that he/she paid for a stall/class entry fees.
The Club may verify that the recipient competed at the event as a representative of the Scandia Riders Saddle Club.
Each recipient of a sponsorship will receive a SRSC check in the amount of $60 following his/her presentation at the October or November SRSC General Membership Meeting.
